The connectBlue Rugged Bluetooth Ethernet Port Adapter (RBEPA) is especially well-suited for mobile, rotating and temporary installations where there is a need for replacing the Ethernet cable with a robust and maintenance-free wireless connection.

Further, the product is called “Intelligent antenna™” thanks to the ease of use and cost efficiency of the installation and configuration. Another unique feature of the RBEPA is the Low Emission Mode™ which solves potential interference disturbances between Bluetooth and Wireless LAN that is not handled by the Bluetooth implementation of Adaptive Frequency Hopping. The Wireless Ethernet Port Adapter is part of the connectBlue product range of Wireless Products in industrial housings and a version with Wireless LAN also exists.
